Roam The Mountains * Study Edible, Medicinal & Otherwise Useful Wild Plants * Hear Stories & Woodslore
We’ll roam the mountains, follow tumbling creeks, explore lush wildflower coves and stroll along the river. We’ll focus on the great variety of medicinal, edible, and otherwise useful wild plants - their botany, natural history and folklore, as well as their traditional and contemporary uses. We will also be aware of the birds, insects and other critters that texture our outdoor experiences. We’ll gather a variety of wild greens and cook them in the woods (weather permitting) … All that, and be home in time for a Mother’s Day supper.
